incredible opportunity to work with Polish children from ages 11-15.  It was a life changing experience!  I am very grateful to have been able to see Poland, the land of my ancestors, for the first time, and to learn about my heritage.  In addition, I was able to work with some of the most talented and ambitious children I have ever met.  The Polish students were very eager to learn “American” English and had so much fun in the process.  They truly embraced learning about the United States and American culture as well as learning how to become the best versions of themselves.  Furthermore, the entire American staff learned so much about Poland through amazing field trips around Suwałki and through a “Polish Day” organized by the students themselves.  On my summer trip with EOECE to Suwalki, Poland, I made memories and friends that I will treasure for a lifetime.  I can say without a doubt that I will be returning to Poland with EOECE as soon as possible for another summer camp with the Polish children.
