About Us
Mission Statement
The Eagle-Orzeł Educational and Cultural Exchange, Inc. has been organized to create and facilitate educational and cultural exchanges between the United States and Poland. Specific activities include, but are not limited to the following:
- organizing and supervising volunteer opportunities for American teachers of all levels to conduct programs in various locations throughout Poland for Polish youth ranging from 8 to 18 years of age;
- organizing opportunities for Polish teachers of all levels to attend professional development workshops/programs in the United States;
- organizing and supervising educational cultural programs for Polish teachers and students in the United States;
- developing partnerships between American and Polish educational and cultural institutions.
Meet Our Board
A group of globally-minded, passionate educators comprise the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Eagle-Orzeł Educational and Cultural Exchange, Inc. Representing K-12 schools, institutions of higher education, and international organizations, the Executive Committee and Board draw upon expertise gained from decades of leadership and involvement in facilitating educational opportunities for Polish and American teachers and students both in the United States and abroad.
