Szopki Online Workshop – Saturday, December 21, 2024 – 3:30-5:00pm EST

Get into the holiday spirit with a workshop dedicated to the art of making Szopki or nativity scenes which originated in Krakow, Poland in the 19th Century. Annually there is a competition where citizens of Krakow come to show off their creations. In 2018, the Szopka joined the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list.

Our Board Secretary Cecilia and her Aunty Donna return for a third annual holiday season appearance to share information about Szopki and to host a workshop to make these beautiful creations!

All tickets are $15 and includes a list of supplies, a template, and access to a recording of the live event to watch or re-watch at your own pace!

All proceeds go to support the programming of Eagle-Orzeł Educational and Cultural Exchange, Inc. for Summer 2025.
